ok..to explain one thing...the small cbet was because he has been folding if he totally misses everytime...i started with a $1.25 bet...over a bunch of hands lowered it to $1...and after a while lowered it to .50 and it continued to be effective...also he wouldnt do this without hitting the flop..but he is capable of having a draw

check behind, take a free card. doesn't look like you have much fold equity if you put out a big bet

are there any blanks that I bet if he checks the river
also is it a vbet or a bluff? |

if this is the first time he has ever raised my cbet then I will check behind. But if he has done this before then I like a bet.
There may not be much fold equity but there has to be some. I am not really worried about a double c/r and I want a nice big pot for my monster draw. We aren't getting much out of him if we make a flush on the river and even less if we make a straight. I would also check behind if we were just 100bbs. |

yeah with these stacks I did feel I had some fold equity...i had a little trouble figuring his range here...i ruled out QQ+ and had a hard time deciding if I could rule out JJ
that leaves: J9+ 89 22 88 99 TT 67 JT and other flush draws is there any other hands you would throw in? most of these hands are ahead of me...but a good portion of it will fold and I do have outs against everything does this change anything or is it a definite check then again my question is what am i doing on river obv i fold if i miss and he bets but what if he checks and i missed |

I'm not betting a blank river here ever...well I would need a pretty good read.

Wow I must say I really dont like this hand. .5 for a cbet? Please rethink this.
You say he folds when he completely misses the flop but he raises this one. This make me think a call is better than a reraise. All in all I would have let the hand go on the flop. On the turn checking is really weak but I think you are going to get called no matter what you bet. From what you said I dont think he would put that much money in with a flush draw. Take the free card. |

Don't really understand the c-bet but whatever, you know villain better than I do. Flop 3bet is good - you've got a big hand and are happy to get AI in here + any FE makes it more profitable.
Your hand got even bigger on the Turn and I would always bet again here however a check behind is probably fine. I just prefer to take a shot when I could have some FE and outs if I don't. Pot odds decision if he raises. River - unimproved I check behind. |

I check behind this turn. If he just called flop cbet instead of CR, I would fire 2nd barrel, because we just picked up a ton of equity + we have some FE. However, with CR and call-3bet, villain looks like he likes his hand. I just check behind & hope to hit on river.
