Default nobody ever folds anymore

The guy plays pretty straightforward, overall aggression of .6 or something. i just think im drawing dead a vast majority of the time and do not like i should put in 2 more bbs. is this a crazy dumb fold, or have a started to learn and play well?

hoppscott,
i think there's something of a disconnect in your logic. If he plays straightforward and passive then he likely won't raise the flop with just a flush draw, given his relative position.

Anyway, I gave him a range of {kj, set, flush with an 8} and it is a close fold. If you are like me and have a very hard time folding the river after peeling the turn then it is an easy fold.

hes passive, but he also thinks he plays really well because he might raise that flop then check behind the turn with a flush draw for a free card thinking that he is a genius free carding me.

i actually dont know if hed raise the turn with KJ... he actually might not, ive seen him do some really weak tight things.

hopp - who was it?

i dont think anyone faces the field with 2 bets with a good spades unless they plan on following through on the turn. there's just a disconnect in logic.

i think your fold is acceptable at worst against all but the most spewy players. call 3bet / raise turn against an apparent blank is about as strong a line as you can get; no matter who you're up against.

Who was it?

Not sure I like a fold. I think this the K and a spade enough.

I feel like doing some math would be good for me today and this is a pretty easy hand for it. Gimme discounted ranges somebody.
