AA against pretty narrow range
I've been lurking here for a little while, and it's now time for my very first 2p2 post. Not totally sure what to do on this turn here. His range after the flop is AA-QQ (or a lower set) I think. AA seems really unlikely given that I have the other two aces, and KK is probably raising this flop. That leaves sets as the most likely holdings. It's a big pot though. What do you think?
Villain is 42/10/.5 over 70 hands. Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards) CO ($20) Button ($50.35) SB = (Villain) ($57.50) BB ($30) Hero ($121.30) MP ($59.40) Preflop: Hero is UTG with , . Hero raises to $2.5, 3 folds, SB (Villain)/ raises to $5.25, 1 fold, Hero raises to $14.5, SB (Villain)/ calls $7. Re: AA against pretty narrow range
You don't have any choices - put him AI. He's only got about $8 left and you can't fold getting almost 4:1 fearing a set. If you are beat, reload and move on. BTW, bet more on the Flop. No big deal but it makes life easier to just commit yourself there.

Re: AA against pretty narrow range
Sucks, but you still have to felt this. I don't even think you could drop it against a 12/10 nit...
I think your pf reraise should be bigger, and against the right opponent you might just overbet push. It looks weaker than repotting. He's calling with whatever he's calling with anyway (though not necessarily to the push, comment is meant for the 4bet size.) Just what you want. Villain's rr isn't large enough to flat call pf, unfortunately... |

Re: AA against pretty narrow range
all in and this isnt really close. You've put in almost 30bb pf so the pot is huge on the flop, and you only lose to one hand on the flop, QQ. Plus villain is a donkey so he could easily have something dumb like AQ here.
You really should be fist-pumping here! |

Re: AA against pretty narrow range
PUSH, you don't have a choice anyways.
I don't like making the range that tight unless you know this person very well. Even if he always has AA,KK or QQ I can't fold given the money in the pot and what he has left. |

Re: AA against pretty narrow range
Cool, thanks everyone. I did push and he had QQ, so I started questioning myself there. Also, I realize the flop bet was too small. I remember thinking the pot was 23 on the flop, in which case my bet is still small but not as bad. Just a brain fart there. Obviously that makes the turn push even more of an all-brainer.

Re: AA against pretty narrow range
once you bet the flop you're not folding, and you would need an absolutely disgusting flop to check there so well played
