Default NL100 2 hands: Rate my postflopleak

Hi,

I am trying to get better on turn and river. I used to suck there. With that said please look at my postflop play. In Hand 1 Villan was unknown. My bet on the turn is good, but what do i do if he bets river after my check. Up to what amout would you call. I would may have called 1/2 PSB. If he would have pushed (PSB) I would definately have folded since he called the turn when the flush hits. No one pair hand would push the river.

I am playing one orbit with villan. Sadly I can not help out with a read. Since I am in position I call preflop. At the flop I bet smaller and hope he pushed over. Maybe to small in retrospect. But anyways he calls and the A hits. He bets $40. That made my think. He can do this with AA but i think this is unlikely. Because of the flop call I can't see him have AK / AQ, expect to AQhh. -> Also very unlikely. I think this is most of the time a bluff with QQ, JJ, TT whatever to push me of so I get it in. Do you like my thouhgt process.

I bascially liked the fact that I now have one (and do not play on auto)

Hand 1: I probably check/call up to 35 or 40. If we're deeper, I'd probably bet around 35 and fold to a raise.

Hand 2: I bet a little more on the flop, but otherwise I think it's fine.

Can someone explain how hand 2 is such an easy/standard raise?

First hand. You must call a bet of less than $30. I think a block / value bet of around $20 is better though. Fold to a raise. A check after 2 bets OOP seems weak from you. I would have put in a $40 bet in his place. Anyways hard without a read, but you are ahead of his range (AQ, AJ, KT, KQ, KJ,JJ)

Second hand. Tough without a read. Bad move if he has an A. If he's got 67h and he reraises light it's still a bad move. This is a tough spot, but i would be inclinded to call here. What was the result?

[*] #1: Vs unknown on this rainy flop I'd bet more. Every K, Q, J or [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] either kills your action or lets him draw out. Turn is fine, and the idea of c/c'ing some smallish bets on the river is fine too. I'd probably call up to $35. You're obviously not deep enough to b/f this river and betting like $20 allows a somewhat decent player to bluff you out of the pot. Against a station I'd fire this river again and expect to get called by any Ax.

#2: This BUvSB, so I'd be more inclined to 4bet this preflop. Calling is fine too as you have position. Your bet on the flop is fine, this is such a lovely flop for a big overpair - we want to allow him to stay in with every PP. And of course we don't give villain any credit when he bets the turn, he must be pretty retarded if the Ace helped him. He probably just thinks 'oh boy great scarecard, lets do some fancy stuff'.
(He folded to your push anyway *g)
