NL Cash - $600 NL - Mixing up AQ
hero has $600, villain bought in short for $300.
i have history with villain, i think he's been on a pretty bad downswing. he's straighfwd and does'nt make many fancy plays Villain on button raises to $12 Hero has A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and raises to $30 Villain calls. Flop ~$70ish T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero checks, villain bets $60, hero calls. Turn: $130ish 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] check, check River: $130ish 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $120. VIllain calls. |

Re: NL Cash - $600 NL - Mixing up AQ
If I took the flop line it would be for the sole intention that I think villain bluffs too much so I could call him down. River doesn't seem to fit that plan too well, and if he has any brain he'll probably value bet any ace anyway (which is about his entire calling range that you beat) and throw in some bluffs I think checking is way better than betting river.

Re: NL Cash - $600 NL - Mixing up AQ
i'm not sure about a weak ace betting, sometimes they do, sometimes they wanna escape cheaply.
I think betting works because a weak ace will pay you off and maybe a T. I don't know though, i'd like others to chime in |

raise more pre. also, I don't like the whole thing because you didn't get his whole stack.
