Default Folding an overpair (sunday million)

This is from the sunday million. I'm not playing in this hand, it's 2 random villains.

I post this because there was this hand I posted a few days ago from the WCOOP ME and a debate developed about the possibility of someone folding an overpair there (everyone said it never happens).

To make it clear: this is a very different spot. I"m not saying the 2 spots are similar.

WCOOP hand

Here's a random dude, tanking for a long time after the flop c/r, then admitting to folding AA. Of course, can't be 100% he actually folded AA or any overpair, but there's some real chance IMO he just did that.

FWIW, I don't think it is THAT rare as some people seem to think. When stacks are deep enough (in MTT terms), and people think about surviving, some (very few ones, i admit) will fold overpairs, although sometimes for very bad reasons of course. (and in the WCOOP ME there was much more scared money than in some random sunday million).

(In the chat the guy who folded said: "set I guess", right before folding, and after folding he said: "folded aa for you", or something very similar)

Anyway, if I posted this already, what do you actually put these guys on? it's v early in the tournament, none of them was particularly active or anything.

Yes it's a very ugly spot for UTG+1 if he does have an overpair.

UTG+1 should have bet more on the flop, 4/5 to pot-sized, 1020 to 1275. As is, it looks weak, like a possible semi-bluff. If UTG is super-aggressive he might make this move.

I fold AA here, no problem. There are trickier situations out there.
