without reads this really sucks. the problem is that this is a bvb situation. i donīt think that you should stack off here b/c villain is very likely to be doing this with 4x and there a basically none of those that you beat.

Yeah, we can always take the "we are damn near 1:1 here, so folding is ok" line. What sucks is that we very well may have missed an opportunity to take this guys stack away.

I usually fold here and I can't say that at this level it is a bad thing. Villains are usually pretty bad and they either underbet/slowplay big hands or shove them like maniacs hoping you will see it as a bluff.

right, but the only holdings with a 4 that beat me are 84, 94, 104 J4 Q4 K4 and A4. Only one that makes sense to me is A4, would anyone min raise BvB with any of the others? and can i narrow the range to A4 or a full house enough to fold, even getting only 1.17 to 1? i'm not sure.

I think this is an easy fold, I don't think you're ever ahead here.

your not getting the odds to call here.. and plus you are in a tricky situation. i would say a fold is in need here.

Ive seen players do this and 9/10 they have a 4. Fold cuz of kicker problems.
