Default I hate folding sets...

...but I think folding was justified in this instance. Do you agree? No real reads on villian, although I had previously won a pot or two against him. With the line he took, it just looked so much like he had a made straight or flush.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

UTG: $9.40
MP: $27.80
CO: $25

BB: $24.40

Pre-Flop: 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG calls $0.25, MP folds, CO raises to $1, Hero calls $1, 3 folds

Flop: ($2.60) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $2, CO calls $2

Turn: ($6.60) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $4.50, CO raises to $17, Hero???

i´m never folding here like ever!!!
what hands are in his flop calling range that beat you on the turn? flopped flush?
i not stacking off here is a huge leak imo. i found that many villains will bet the call flop/ bet or raise the turn big w/ a big flush draw here b/c they realize that their equity has dropped but they still have outs.
by folding here you basically give villain cradit for a flopped flush. i´m pushing the turn every time.

Do you shove, though, because it seems like shoving makes it so that only hands stronger than yours will call.

Check stack sizes. Hero will only have $5 left if he were to just call the raise.

I was essentially assuming that he had flopped a flush here. That, or possibly something like 89o with a heart. Or even a larger set.

You don't think those types of holdings are likely enough here to warrant folding? Does everyone else agree?

i dont think that you can ever assume a flopped flush like that with a set.
