Default ato v tag utg 5 handed

home game deep stack 20k starting chips

blinds 200/400

utg who is TAG opens for 1200

utg1 calls, u are button ato with effective stacks of 27k against the utg opener but u cover by about twice

so u call and so does the bb

flop comes t85 with two spades

utg leads into 3 other peopel for 3k

what is your play?

what do u do if u rasie and get shoved on?

what do we put utg on that we beat if we rasie and he shoves?

Usually this is an easy fold PF.

As played I just call and evaluate the turn. When you raise you commit yourself anyways which means you would have to push. I don't like a push here so just call.

also, what range of hands do we put utg on?

what do we beat when he shoves?

are we drawing super thin here almost always?

I lay it down if he really fires (at least half pot) otherwise I call.

Edit: You should have a decent idea how he plays when this is a regular homegame, but when he raises UTG then he has 88+ AJ+ if he is not super-loose. I doubt he would fire 2 barrels with AK, AQ or AJ

The only hands that we beat and are reasonable are 99 and AJ+ of spades...

I don't know if you remember, but if you held the Ace [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] then it becomes even more unlikely that you have him beat.
