Default $60 Poker X Factor vid, discuss my donkish play

Posted on request of Rexwoo.

There was a post maybe a week ago of a person asking would it be more profitable to leave an sng when short stacked and start another. Well I say watch this vid then decide. Except for 1 hand I think I played this sng perfect. Let's see if you can figure out which hand.....

#6 : AJo . Call from the BB ? There is no raise per se as initial raiser is all in for 90 chips.

#14 : hard to fold without a laser read

#19 : I'm surprised that you chose this hand to push. I mean, you let the blinds pass and you still have 4 hands to wait and find better than 75s.

#23 : lol at the limp / folder when you're all in for 3 BB. Tom gave you quite a few chips by limping during this one.

#36 : 33 - seems very thin / bad with 9BBs and 5 player behind, no ?

#55 : KQs UTG seems thin too. I don't make it even here with like 6 effective BBs (theres are ante - as if blinds where 150/300). Leak of mine ?

#60 : KQs again, this time with one less guy behind. This one looks a bit better but still.

#64 : nh

#75 : I open push J4o HU with 10 BB. Is that bad ?

Well played over all. I'd really like opinions on the 33 and KQs push.

6- Since I 8 table I will sometimes fold marginal spots like this pre if I have a lot of action going on at other tables. I think I could have seen a flop here but I was probably busy with other things.

14- This was bad. I get check raised all in and I'm not getting good odds against his range. I really should have folded, but the guy was 40/10/inf over the first 10 hands and I didnt really believe him. This has been my biggest leak so far since moving up to the 60s, committing TPTK early. You simply dont see non sets call you at the level often enough for it to be profitable.

19- This hand fit my 2 conditions for pushing. 1- It was folded to me. 2- Its not garbage. If I fold this I might as well leave the tournament.

23- Ya he was terrible. I was laughing so hard I almost timed out of my other games. This game was so hilarious.

36- Giving all opponents except shorty 7%- 88+ AJ+ ATs, this is a push. Giving them 8%- 66+ AT+, it is a fold. Is anyone behind gonna call 66 or ATo? I dont think so.

55- Setting all opponents to 9%- 66+ AT+ A9s, this is a shove with 55+ AT+ A9s KQ KJs KTs. In reality they arent even calling that wide. I'm pushing wide here, any pair, any suited ace, any face.

60- Almost the same as 55 except the CO is short and calling wider. Still I'm pushing roughly the same range as hand 55.

64- QUADDED

75- This is a fold according to nash equilibrium.

14 - hard to fold against an unknown 40/10 really, much easier against a lot of other people

36/55/60 : thanx for your input

75 - ahem. I should probably search / build those NE tables right ?
Do you use them while playing or just look at them when needed ?

I have a table of pushes for nash equilibrium i made using SNGEGT. I think push/folding perfectly is critical for late game success.

I'm gonna post hand 14 I really need some more opinions about this.

14 - Agree with Rex. Never fold vs. an unknown. Especially some dude who's playing a lot of hands.

36 - Assuming players behind you will fold a hand like 7s is playing with fire. At most tables, I'd suspect pushing 33 is -EV here. Given your ranges, it's good to push K3s. Do you also push that here?

55 - Agreed on the KQs. Definite push.

You seem to have a leak in regards to realistic calling ranges, thinking people are definitely folding AT or 66 to a LP 9x shove is lol. Also pushing the 75 imo is a far bigger mistake than stacking with AK, which against a 40/10 would be a big leak to fold. HU Nash isnt the only answer, because it preassumes both of you are playing perfect and this never happens, hand 75 is a shove against most.

First off, I don't think it is either. But I also don't think 33 is. But if you go strictly by +EV pushes according to SNGPT with your ranges, they both would be.
