I'm raising to t600 and shutting down if he calls or pushes.

Call and reevaluate on the turn.

I think you get donk bet into w/ a lot of marginal aces that aren't necessarily folding to a raise. Opponents are willing to go broke with such marginal aces in this spot. No one ever folds top pair. Hopefully flatting him will freeze him and you get a cheap showdown.

Call and reevalueate on turn looked good to me as well.. Here's what happened next:

flop hero calls 200
turn (some undercard) SB bets 300 [t1000]
Hero ?

Should I let this go?

I'm usually reluctant to play on an A-high flop with KK-JJ if I see any action (even hup). Is this a solid line?

I like a call on the flop.

When he bets again on the turn, I let it go

Hmm im really raising 3.5-4 bb preflop, we have big stack so that doesn't look suspiciously strong. Id rather take blinds then have to make tough decisions like this, because some donk called me with A3o, or give set odds to anyone.

Interesting.. My standard is 2,5bb and I really don't see the need to deviate from that. Is anyone else raising more than 3bb?

I don't mind someone calling me with A3o. I think the benefit of 2,5x is also the times when someone pushes over me with i.e TT-55, A8+..

I would probably raise 3bb, but no more than that. Anyway, yeah I fold the turn I guess.
