I know...
I really do feel like folding is a mistake, but it's like - he has QQ+ here rarely (rr preflop) - no way he is cold 3betting something like A7 if he's a winner in tournaments midstakes I would think - I dont think people overplay medium to big pocket pairs here - dude would have to be nuts or on tilt to cold 4bet something like a straight draw It's like... I dunno, in these situations should I just go lol and shove? Because honestly it looks like 77 or 33 so much here. He saw a flop bet and raise on this really dry board and reraised. Meh. |

I wouldn't fold here (duh set). For one thing, you raised a < 1/3 pot bet from somebody who didn't even raise preflop. I don't think that signifies that you have a very strong hand, you would probably raise a pretty decent range here for value and to thin out the field. I could maybe see him playing like 88 this way as a value protection bluff because he figures his hand is good but doesn't like just calling. It's not incredibly likely, but I think it's very possible.
I can see why you would be worried, for sure. But I would need a much more specific read than the one you have to fold. Not to mention stacks aren't that deep either. Also plz respond to my bubble squeeze thread Clay, curious what you think of it. |
