($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
The villain is somewhat loose and might not have a clear idea what he's doing.

Seems fine, I like it a lot better if you're in the BB tho.

Re: ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
Did you decide preflop to push on flop no matter what, or if texture of flop looks like it misses a raise (no A/K)?
Given the texture of the flop, I think this might be a bad play. Villain will be calling with any overpair, and do you really want him to fold an unimproved AQ or AK when he would likely C-Bet with position? |

Re: ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
I rate this as 'decent' ... you can muck here and have 4 different shots to get it in first with your last FE, I think this is a little FPS-y without a read that CO is raising wide, or laying down a whiffed AJ for 3-1 on the flop ... not to mention the pairs that are crushing you already

you can muck here and have 4 different shots to get it in first with your last FE [/ QUOTE ] Wouldn't I be better off just folding it PF then? Cause if you think this play is 'decent', what flop would you consider as being good for it? 226r? A35r? |

Re: ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
If you decide to stop&go here, flop doesn't really matter since there is already so much money in the pot.
I like it. |

Re: ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
As far as 'decent' - I dont hate it, but I dont think the flop is a consideration at all when you call off half of your stack pre with the intention of stopping-&-going. You are shoving 99.99% of flops and your internet is crapping out the rest of them

Re: ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
Hmm is it me or pot odds given by stop&go are just irresistable here?
I don't think its a good stop & go spot, id rather go allin preflop or fold if i see reasons for that, here id just go allin, 55 seems to be enough for a loose guy and 1/3 of our stack dead money in pot. |

Re: ($24) My first stop & go. Wrong spot?
I don't understand why you don't just push preflop. I can't see a loose player folding much if anything on that flop.

I like folding preflop.
