I have no reads on villian at all. He just took the seat of someone who just busted. Whats my play here? I jsut felt AQ was def a huge part of his range. we r fairly deep, and this is whats giving me trouble. Did i put my self in a tough spot becaue i didnt lead? What if i lead and get raised, is it now time to dump the hand? thanks

I agree with Bakes in that I'm check calling he could be betting out with a lot more then just AQ here. AK,AQ, KQ,QJ even a middle pocket pair all bet out here as you have shown weakness on the flop.

Next Question: What happens when the turn comes a Ace. Lets look at it in two different ways.

1) hero c/c the flop as most pointed out is the right play
2) hero raised the flop to 2400 total ( and button called)

I would have bet into him. Since you know nothing about him, he could have called with a wide range of hands. However, I usually assume the player is fairly tight calling raises until I see some of his action.

That being the case, he probably would have called with QQ-77, AK, AQs.

Flop: 6,7,Q.

I would have bet around t600 to see where I am. If he calls, then worry about AQ.
