or is this completely standard?

Not as big a donkey as myself but this is a spot I always have trouble in too. I am not sure he would play a flopped flush this fast (as most donks prefer to slow play) but definitely a set or even a pair with the ace of spades as well I have seen bad players stack off with top pair here too because they think your bluffing them. Good luck bt2 haven't seen you in around playing the last few day's.

Well atleast when you're wrong you still have 4 outs. Pretty hard to fold this here I check the flop personally though and if another spade comes up just take an 8 dollar loss.

I think villan played it right, another spade and it would kill his action, and without a read I probably call here too
