Default regular HUsng\'s LC

sup , i would like to know if any of you guys plays regular hu sng's .
How many sng's can u put in an hour in avarage ? is it right that the winrate is higher than in turbos so the variance is lower ?
if it is , what would be the avarage roi% of a good player playing 10's 20's ?

sorry about the LC thread , i just didnt find anything on FAQ

Anything positive is good. Above 20% is pretty nasty.

I suck in non-turbos for some reason.

Note: I accidentally included 4 mans so my non-turbo graph is a little crazier than it should be. Too much effort to fix.

Ill give you the benefit of the doubt since its hard to search for such broad terms.

Stars: 5 - 6 turbos an hour
FTP : up to 9 turbos an hour

Variance as well as winrate is a little higher in turbos compared to regulars. On neither side significantly though (imo).

At the 10 and 20s, low stakes thus, a ROI of 15% and maybe above can be achieved. Those numbers should be purely theoretical however. If you do have a 15% ROI at these stakes you will be moving up very quickly.

I think that a lot of the reason I do so much worse in the regular ones is that they are so god damn slow and boring.

I played against a guy in a 4 man $80 and he decided to use the full 15 seconds for EVERY MOVE. I tried hard to discipline myself from turning psycho aggressive which probably got me to play more passive than normal. I eventually beat him but if I recall correctly the game took over 50 minutes.

When I got into the next match my opponent had gone AFK or fallen asleep or something so I stole his blinds to victory.

In general, deeper stacks should favor good players because most of the pots are small and more hands = less variance. The regular tournaments start in lower blinds (on FTP) and move up more slowly, so they are generally accepted to favor good players.

edit: typo

I prefer to pay the regs. I run/pay terribe at the turbos.

FYI, if you really want to go on donkey tilt, pay the the Limit SNGs.

I seem to do much better at the regs, with super-high volatility at the turbos.

One interesting bit of data though:

When I was running my average hand counts per tournament for variance comparisons, I averaged 32 hand per game in turbos, and like 46 per game in regulars, so on average, my regular games don't seem to run horribly longer than my turbo games.

I'm not sure why that would be, though.

I hope this is FTP. It takes me 48 hands per tourny on avg. (stars, turbos).

Yeah, it's full tilt.

Stars turbos apparently have a slower structure, especially in the first 15 minutes. In fact, for the first 15 minutes, stars turbos are really not that much faster than FT regulars. Past there, stars turbos speed up significantly compared to FT regulars, but if your average game is only 48 hands, the structure during the first 15 minutes is *much* more important.
