Default 99 vs. Min-Raiser

Earlier hand played against villain:

SB: $102.55

UTG: $36.30
CO: $54.05
Hero (BTN): $98.00

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 Players)
2 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, SB folds, Villain calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.50) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $5.50</font>, <font color="red">Villain raises to $11.00</font>, Hero calls $5.50

Turn: ($29.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Villain checks, Hero checks

River: ($29.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)

Pot Size: $29.50 ($0.50 Rake)

Villain had 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of aces) and WON (+$12.50)
Hero had 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and LOST (-$14.50)

So now I pick up 99 ...

UTG calls $1.00, <font color="red">Hero raises to $5.00</font>, CO folds, Villain calls $5.00, 2 folds, UTG calls $4.00

Flop: ($16.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
UTG checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $12.00</font>, <font color="red">Villain raises to $24.00</font>, UTG folds, Hero calls $12.00

Turn: ($64.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, <font color="red">Villain bets $32.00</font>, Hero folds

Is this standard? I called the turn hoping to check down the hand.

I hate your line, cause i hate folding here.

I probably just end up putting in the rest at the turn, but i don't really like it.

Is this the same villain? If so I would more likely put him on an 8, but the turn is bad, it completes 57 str8. This is a tough spot, but I either fold on the flop or shove on the flop after his minrasie. As played I would fold on the turn, you only beat 78, 89, A8, etc.

Board: 6c 6d 8h
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 37.324% 36.43% 00.90% 126585 3112.50 { KcKs, 99-55, A8s, A6s, T8s, 98s, 86s, 75s, 65s, A8o, A6o, T8o }
Hand 1: 62.676% 61.78% 00.90% 214680 3112.50 { 99 }

Pushing flop can't be too bad.

But why push? Only push that hand if you know villain will call with his 8. I would prefer keeping the pot small, c-c turn and put in a valuebet on river, almost regardless of which cards hit the board. There is no sence in pushing around, as you are likely to have the best hand and have nice showdown value

I doubt he caught a straight on the turn, as he seems straightforward (fishy) and im not sure he would checkraise a draw.

If you believe you are best, i would just call this one down, letting him blow his stack w nothing
