A kill game is one where the stakes temporarily raise, depending on a certain trigger. Usually the trigger is when one person wins two pots in a row. If the game is 10/20 w/ a kill, and someone wins two pots in a row, the next hand would be 20/40 until a different person wins. In addition, the person who triggered it automatically has to put out a big blind. Half kill would mean it jumps to 15/30.

Strategy - depends. Sometimes people will go crazy trying to win a hand at the higher limit, other times people might tighten up because they aren't comfortable w/ the stakes.

Generally an Omaha8b kill is when you scoop (win high and low) a pot of a certain size.
