Default Stars Player Images (On or Off)?

Do you think other players images affect your judgement at all?
Do you think its better to have them on because on so it'll help you remember them?

Is it better to have them on or off? How is everyone playing now?

On Full Tilt I have them on, and I also make sure my avatar is different at every table, although I'm not sure that is possible at Stars. That being said, I'll never play Stars again. No way in hell am I helping pay the salary of that tool Havad Khan.

I have them always off at both sites, don't want to see stupid faces or avatars when multitabling. But that's just personal taste I guess...

I put them off since I get easily distracted. Any image just sets my mind off in a different direction when Im not active on a table.

There is a theory that I agree with that the following avatars indicate that someone sucks -
- Picture of baby
- Blurry picture of self
- Picture of pet cat/dog.
But when you have a HUD you fing out pretty quick anyway.

Checkout the software forum for some table mods that are easier on the eye than standard stars crap. (They also leave more room for HUD Stats)

Yeah, i've been looking at the different table mods recently in the software forum.
I used to have a really good simple one on all of my tables back in the party days.

I've recently switched to Hyper Simple mode in stars own selection and finally turned player images off.

Those of us with babies for avatars have crafted the following careful reply HERE

I leave avatars on because it helps me remember people somtimes. If an avatar tilts, distracts or disgusts me, I turn it off.

Im pretty much with Fiasco - it also helps to easily spot the regs and orientate where i am, who played what hand when etc.

That said, i have no avatar and might find me a blurry picture of a baby next to a cat

Im about to go look for alternative images though, cos Hyper Simple is OK but could be better. I also hate the standard card images too, all 3 of the ones offered by stars.

I have mine turned off, I just think they are distracting sometimes disgusting and I remember names just as well as pictures.

Lol - of course there are exceptions, no offence intended to anyone.
