Default 99 in BB against a loose limper + CO\'s raise

Poker Stars, Limit Holdem Ring game, Limit: $2/$4, 9 players

MP1 - a fish: 69 hands / saw flop 54% / Flop-Turn 68% / preflop-raise 18.8% / aggF 0.7
CO - TAGgy: 136 / 17.6% / 70.8% / 10.3% / 4.0

Pre-flop: (9 players) HERO is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
2 folds, MP1 calls (1.5:1), 2 folds, <font color="red">CO raises</font>, 2 folds, <font color="blue">HERO ??</font>

MP1 is a fish and has pretty wide range of hands we are ahead of preflop. CO is a TAG and has been in the table long enough to notice that MP1 is a fish. What's our our plan?

Continued...

HERO calls (4.5:1), MP1 calls (5.5:1).

My reasoning for the preflop call was that I'm not gonna get MP1 to fold anything and hope for low flop to get aggressive with CO.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6.5SB, 3 players)
<font color="blue">HERO ??</font>

We hit a set and probably have a big equity edge in a smallish pot. The fish with all of his dead money sits between me and the TAG preflop aggressor. The board is somewhat drawy. What's our plan?

Bet the flop (for deception purposes as well as making any flush draws pay) and hope for a raise to which you would flat call and C/R the turn.

Bet the flop and get MP trapped into calling CO raise ? If CO raises, C/R the turn.

If I could be *sure* of MP leading out, I would c/r the field on the flop.

We've flopped a set on a semi drawy board; why aren't we putting the pedal to the metal (bet/3bet, lead turn)? MP1 fish will probably see the turn for any amount of bets but a lot of fish won't pay you off on the turn if they no longer have something to chase, so I get his money now. And I don't like any line that possibly allows the turn to check thru.

Thanks for the replies - straightforward bet and hope for a raise fest and hope the fish hangs in there.

3-bet preflop, since you didn't, then checkraise flop.
