Default 3rd Hand in, time to make a stand with A9o ?

3/6 Online.

Hero joins in BB, folded to CO who raises and takes down the pot pre flop.
Hero in SB folded to same villain who raises and take down pot pre flop.

Now hero is on button with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

2 folds, Villain raises, Hero 3 bets, blinds fold, villain caps, hero calls.

Flop(9SB): A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Villain cheacks, hero bets, villain raises, hero calls.

Turn (6BB): 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Villain bets, hero calls

River (8BB): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Villain bets, hero......

@ OP

wtf? How is this ever anything but a call.

Also start 3-betting more in position if you think A9o OTB vs a CO raise is something special.

I knew this was a call all the way.

I posted to see if anybody was finding an extra raise anwhere.
My aggresion factor is not as high as many of the posters on here and I was looking to see if this is a spot where they get more aggro.

i check the flop here as his check is weird and we are WA/WB. as played, we have to call down, but i don't feel good about it.

There is absolutely no reason to get aggro here. Villain sexied you on the flop after showing a lot of strength preflop. His play is so weird/strong that you can only profitably call down. Can only profitably raise his turn/river bet if you figure that you're ahead of his range 66% of the time and given his line that's just not very likely. If he has an ace you're obviously beat, and if he capped pf with a big PP, he took the maximum spew line.

I always bet this flop, WA/WB be damned. Getting C/R on the flop is not a huge disaster and I figure that a big part of his range is PP's that will call down so we're losing value in those cases.

After a villain pulls this [censored] on me once, I make a note and vill be more careful next time.
