Default BJ game is def beatable right?

Thinking about learning to count better after seeing this juicy game. In oklahoma..certain days they run BJ without and ante and this certain casino...6 deck shoe...dealer deals 5 decks deep at least...i have seen bets raised from 5 bucks to 50 plus then back to 5....3-2bj .. hit 16 stand on soft 17...its a small rural casino...dealers and floor are clueless

in oklahoma its law that you have to pay a 50 cent ante on every hand played..in addition to the house advantage...makes it unbeatable..at the times when the casino pays the ante (to help bring in customerson slow weekdays ) i think it makes certain games beatable ..

what is the max bet? 10-1 is not a huge spread for a shoe unless you are wonging in and out which is probably tough in a small place. this isn't that incredible of a game unless you can bump up the spread or they allow surrender.

still confused about this "ante" thing. is it actually just a fee? ante usually implies that it's possible to win it back.

you can def wong in and out...i only had 50 bucks on me so i wonged 5 times and won 30 bucks...the max bet is 500 the min is 5...the staff seems clueless...only 2 people playing during the time i was there...i would talk about going to gamble another game...buy a beer...go put 2 bucks on the pair plus at the 3 card poker game and wait for the next shuffle to railbird...one guy wasnt counting but was just superstitious...was going from 5 buck bet at one spot...to 50-100 bets at 3 spots with no problem...and at times the count was high when he did it...and yes its a fee..and its terrible..i dont think they teach the staff about Counting since its a moot point with the fee...but on the fee free days could be a nice set up..

Okla law dictates that all casino winnings from table games must be returned to the players in some manner. Some offer cash drawings several times a day, others offer an envelope of cash for every BJ or suited BJ for certain periods of time till the "house edge" profit has been returned to the players. Still others offer drawings for free cars and such or some combination of all of these.

Technically the only Indian casino profit comes from the antes (not really a true ante as you denoted) and the built in house edge must be returned to the players in some reasonable manner.

correct..which isnt any better than the regular house edge..when betting 5 bucks u are automaticly 10 percent disadvantage...i guess it would really be ev+ if you could couint on the non ante days and get some of the "rake back" from the games

If the game is double any 2, If you bet and play any decent system perfectly with a 1-10 spread, you should be right around a 1% edge on this game.

Where is the interent? Where can I find it? Seriously, most BJ games online shuffle after every deal... i.e. not beatable with counting. They may be beatable by bonus hustling, but not counting. There are land based games that are beatable for modest win rates, but they are hard to find.
