Default NL 100, if there\'s ever a time for a check raise on the river...

Villain is aggro tard, calling/making too many bets. I called this preflop because he made a ton of these minraises on the button and I had been repopping him a bunch so I wanted to mix it up. 42/17/2 with a river aggro of 7.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $162.45
BB: $114.95
UTG: $59.80
CO: $110.15
BTN: $172.40

Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
2 folds, BTN raises to $2.00, Hero calls $1.50, BB folds

Flop: ($5) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($5) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $4.50, BTN raises to $20.00, Hero calls $15.50

River: ($45) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero ?

Does this kill my action too much to try for a check raise? I figure he'll bet any set, any T, and any two pair.

pretty sure he'll bet if he has a straight. but i'm not so sure if he bets 2 pair/set hands as the board is very scary. i'd puke if he check behind w/AK. I'd just bet full pot on the river.

I don't like checking here I think we miss bets too often.

im not so sure i love the turn play...when you lead for 4.50 you need a plan

you could only have flush outs...if he has trips or two pair...your straight outs are garbage because you wont get paid off

i think i prefer crai on turn to try to find out where he is...and fold to a huge 3bet

as played its a must bet on the river though...bet 30 and give him 2.5 to 1 to pay you off and hope he does

ya definetly just lead the river. Tons of hands he checks behind now that may call a bet. Anyone else just check call turn? Give him the chance to bluff, or try and hit ur draw for relatively cheap? Or is this too weak?

Leading river gives him a chance to shove over your bet with a 10, and will also get a call from two pair that may not bet if you check to him.

He could easily check behind with a set or straight.

Lead river.

crai is such a huge overbet, and you can't expect him to bet the turn after he checked the flop. I like a bet to take it down a lot of the time, remember you only have 2nd pair with a draw.
