Re: 750k FTP, AK w/A on flop
This was played very bad overall, you played this like a tight-weak player.
Why do you just smooth call the flop and turn? Raise the flop bet, if he calls and lead out on the turn, you SHOVE. |

Agreed. Raise flop. Shove turn assuming he bets. If he checks turn, bet.

Re: 750k FTP, AK w/A on flop
Thanks, figured the flop was my biggest screw up. But I really thought I was way ahead (which I was, until the end ) and wanted to suck as much money out as possible.

Re: 750k FTP, AK w/A on flop
well, i figured a raise would drive them off and got a little spooked on the end w/the 3rd diamond and larger bet.
Dont get me wrong, Im not defending my play, I think it was terrible. |

Re: 750k FTP, AK w/A on flop
Just dont be afraid to play your hand strongly, especially when you have the best hand. I mostly v-bet my AK when I hit and dont get too tricky with check-raises or check/calls unless its a certain situation
