This was played very bad overall, you played this like a tight-weak player.

Why do you just smooth call the flop and turn? Raise the flop bet, if he calls and lead out on the turn, you SHOVE.

Agreed. Raise flop. Shove turn assuming he bets. If he checks turn, bet.

Thanks, figured the flop was my biggest screw up. But I really thought I was way ahead (which I was, until the end [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]) and wanted to suck as much money out as possible.

well, i figured a raise would drive them off and got a little spooked on the end w/the 3rd diamond and larger bet.

Dont get me wrong, Im not defending my play, I think it was terrible.

Just dont be afraid to play your hand strongly, especially when you have the best hand. I mostly v-bet my AK when I hit and dont get too tricky with check-raises or check/calls unless its a certain situation
