so he got 33 or 88? We don't fold here on that level. He can also have K8.

Lead flop.

I have to admit that this looks an awfull lot like 33 on the turn. I can't fold though.

You flopped a set, and with 100bb stacks your only concern should be to try and get all the money in the pot.

I'd bet the flop. If you were planning a c/r then I guess that is fine 'cause he'll never get away from an overpair.

Bet more on the turn. You lost a whole street of value, so right now you need to do whatever you can to try and increase the size of the pot so that all the money will go in. Betting small and then 3-betting huge screams "monster".

As played, be glad that he raised, snap-push and do a pump-fist.

If he donkey-slowplayed a set or hit a 2-outer then cest' la vie. Take your cooler like a man.

No he has a set. But I can't just say. "I have a set, I don't fold"

Pretty [censored] spot but you should definitely have bet flop, you need to build the pot.

It's pretty hard to put him on a hand here.. Only thing that makes sense is 33, unless he limps 8s or K8suited type hands.

I don't see him limping kings and then checking behind flop. I guess he could be the kind of donkey who limps KQ/AK then goes crazy with his top pair :P

I don't think you always have to stack off with bottom set in limped pots vs extreme nits, but this hand I guess we'll just have to..

Reads would be nice tho.

Sure, why not? He's basically tight-passive but he might play K8s from time to time.

If he had 33/88 then make a note that he's a set miner that doesn't raise small pp's.

flop looks pretty safe to me so was looking to either c/c or c/r depending on who bet.

It sucks when flops get checked through when you flop an absolute monster. We want to get the money in the middle somehow, and thats easier when we lead this flop.
