5/10 TPTK on draw heaven

Villan is tdogg99 (playing 21.3/16.5/3.14), for those of you who don't know him he's a regular player in these games and one of the biggest winners...if not the biggest. I'm playing 21.1/18.5/5.23 for my session today. We obv. have a lot of history with each other, semi-bluffing and bluffing big in lots of different spots.

Table JUST became heads-up because I busted a guy and another is sitting out.

I figured he would def. 3-bet with 77+ preflop so sets and pairs that beat me are probably out of the question. He could have a worse hand than me but I thought a big draw was most likely and it was best to shove on a safe turn. I got a good turn card so if I am beat I at least have a fair amount of outs to fall back on.

If he calls you need to hit (most of the time) but you're getting paid to chase.

I think it's ok, although last time I had this same line of thought in this situation vs him, he showed up with a set. I don't think he always 3 bets 77 and 88.

We are getting 3-1 with the shove. Our $800 on the river to win $2300 final pot when called. I don't care what he has. Happy to get my money in. The fact that he doesn't always have a set makes it better. The fact that we are ahead a given % of the time makes it better yet. The fact....
