Default NL200 - Resqueeze gone wrong

Villain is 18/16 overall. At the time of the hand, I had him at 25/20 IIRC over 100 hands or so.

This is clearly a resqueeze gone wrong. I’d seen him play back at button opens quite a bit, and he and I had aggressively been going at each other on several tables.

What range do you put him on?
Do I have enough equity versus his range to call here?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $212.95
Hero (BB): $203.00
UTG: $197.00
MP: $212.90
CO: $198.00
BTN: $139.45

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
3 folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $7.00</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $25.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $70.00</font>, BTN folds, <font color="red">SB raises all-in to $212.95</font>

Hero???

this is why doing this is better w/ 98, cause you can fold that

99 is horrible to 3 bet to this amount with if you can't profitablity snap call a push (which against an unknown you can't). However, once nearly half your stack is in the just call and hope he as AK/AQ, or that you hit a 9.

In a squeeze situation against a regular, i think calling and playing poker on the flop is a better option.

I'd fold.

Edit: I also agree with what Keikiwai said, it's better to squeeze w/ more trashy hands as they're easier to fold.

If I'm SB I do this with KK and AA all day long. . . his range is mainly AK cause there are more combos of AK than KK/AA but not because he shoved.
