i think his bet is suspicious if he would have expected you to bet anyway. maybe just shove over the top, you have a lot of outs vs an ace.

Shove over his bet. I don't know if you have any fold equity but if he calls your shove you'll be getting 2:1.

i agree that raising bigger pf is reasonable. |
