AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
I took a shot at 2/4 NL. The villain in the hand is 50/4/0.7/30 wtsd (only 50 hands).
I should have bet more on the flop. What's the best play on the turn? I have $400 behind. Re: AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
Just go ahead and bet $1 more than he has left which is like $300

Re: AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
He's never folding here. Check and call with odds. Include your K and A outs at 75%.
Open pushing the flop is not going to be a mistake against anybody (although less than optimal against some). I probably like an open push against most, unless I know that they smoothcall AA/KK preflop. |

I disagree that he is never folding here.

Re: AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
He may fold occassionally, but I don't think he generally would. I dunno, tough spot. I think checking and pushing are both viable.

Re: AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
pushing is so bad here.
loose passive guy raises it up big pf and calls a big 3bet, then calls a big bet on a ten high flop. the turn changes nothing, except if he had 99 hes now snapping. in general i think people semibluff their draws in these spots way way way too much btw. the main factor in whether or not to bluff is how often the opponent folds, not how much equity you have when called. by the i mean, if we had AK of spades here i bet you would be like "easy check." id call pf mostly btw |

Re: AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
The more I think about the hand, the more I aggree that a push is bad in this situation. He will call my push very often and I still need to improve to win the hand. Given his low AF I should've checked and hope he either checks behind or bets small so I can call with the odds I have.
Well, I pushed and he snapcalled with T9o that turned two pair. The river brought the beautiful 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] giving me the nutflush. |

Re: AKs Nutflushdraw + OCs oop
Easy shove. He wasn't even the opener preflop and hes a fish, he can have loads of stuff you can fold out.
