NL10: KJ on the button
Seven hands in, so no reads on villain, other than he's played about five of the seven hands. I'm trying to play better in these marginal situations, so whatever advice that could be given would be appreciated. Is button raise correct? Is the c-bet on flop ok? Shutting down after the call ok, or should I continue to bet to try get villain off a weak ace/flush draw? ANd the river -- it seems like villain doesn't like his/her hand. Should I have bet here?

Re: NL10: KQ on the button
thx.
I'm just posting this hand because it's such a marginal situation and have such a huge leak in my game in these spots. |

Re: NL10: KQ on the button
I like. Sometimes you can bet this turn because of the flushdraw.
and if the river didn't complete this draw then you could throw out a small bet sometimes. But you need reads to put anymore money in this pot. |
