Default Am I doing something wrong here??

Stars $55. The table has been limping a ton, with overall terrible play. Am I not supposed to raise here?? Can I call this limp-shove?

Absolutely call. Think about what he just saw.

He just saw you make a big raise over a bunch of limpers. For all he knows, you could be doing this with air. You could see AJ or AT here. Even KQ shows up sometimes. Mostly, you are facing a medium pair though.

i swear i've seen more limp-reshoves lately than ever before. and i don't play that much at all. especially the over limp (say MP1 or MP3) and reshove and i've been shown AA/KK like 95% (selective memory ftw).

although... in lower BIs, i've pulled this move myself with like 66-99 and been racing every time i've been called.

since you're getting > 2:1 on the call, you're committed. if you can add 1 or 2 underpairs and maybe AJ+/5%random since you say the play has been terrible, its an easy call.

raise/folding sucks so i think you need to consider that before you raise it up.

I would make the call.

I agree with Bucktotal, i've been seeing the EP limp RR a ton lately. It used to always mean KK+, now people are showing up with 22+ a whole hell of a lot.

Don't fold.

K. I expected 22-JJ or AA. More importantly, is there anything fundamentally wrong w/ raising a few limpers with AQ like this?

Absolutely nothing wrong with raising it here...just so long as you have a plan for what to do against a particular action behind you. For example, in this hand, I would plan on raising and insta-calling a single shover.

The raise here with AQ is also fine because you should also occasionally be steal-raising here with some other hands (in LP hands like T9s; in the BB hands like 94o). So you have to raise with your strong hands for value as well.
