Default 2nd pair monotone board

Party Poker 30/60 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, MP calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, MP folds, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, SB calls.

River: (6 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 6 BB

Do I have a value bet on the river. Villain is 33/18/1.8/35.

I like the way you played it. I dont feel like he's calling with very much that you can beat. A pair of 4's or smaller pocket pair; A high? I think he's probablly folding A high on the river.

I definitely would not have bet the river.

I'm also interested in leading the flop. I always do this if there is one opponent to act after me, and often if there are 2. But 3 opponents seem like too many. If raised, do you call and then fold turn ui?

I agree, that's the main reason I checked.

I don't like betting this flop at all. Not 5 way when you are 2nd to act especially.

Um...monotone board? Where?

I think there might be value in this river bet. 22, 33, 55, 67, 65, 54, A5, A7 are all possible hands that might vall the river. Granted, he might have played differently on the flop or turn with some of these hands, but I think they are all possibilities. Furthermore, I highly doubt he has an 8, 9, or K, based on how he played, but I guess he might have something like A6, which would suck. I think this is a value bet.
