Seems well played, can't really put villain on a hand here cause he limped UTG.

My usual line would be lead turn c/c river after the draws miss.

You really need to tell us something besides just posting the hand.

Thanks guys.

Was just checking that my check on the turn was ok when i hit the trip 7's.

Obviously in this case he took the bait so worked fine.

Thanks for the repsonses.

Honestly, I really hate your c/r on the turn. It looks like a 7.

I think I lead turn, and lead river.

I like a slightly larger bet on the river. $10.00

OK. Thanks for the feedback. Thats what i wanted to check.

Why do you hate it? I'm not disagreeing with you but just want to understand the reason?

Why i did it at the time was so he thought I'd given up on the pot after trying to take it down with a flop bet. Encouraging him to bet.

Like I said I don't deisagree with you but would like to know why it is a good or bad play?

We always see AK or KK hands discussed but some noobs like me i'm sure aren't sure of the best way to treat these BB hands when connecting with board in a big way.

After all becasue you only checked pre flop he has no idea what you have.

Let me know why you hate it.........I'll probably agree with you.

Cheers

The problem with the cr is many things.

a) gives the fd a free river card.

b) makes the pot large and you dont want to play for stacks.

c) it may get another bet out some worse hands, but alot of them are just checking behind.

d) it turns your hand face up.

You don't want to play for stacks? Why not here?

Also what do you mean in d).... You think it gives hand away?
