Default Micro AKs hits K -- how big a bet

First real post.

After reading forum messages and looking at PT replays, it appears that my main problem is playing moderately good hands. This is an example -- a good starting 2 that hit, a pot-sized bet on the flop and I still get into trouble. Where did I go wrong?

A bit more context: the rest of the table was more loose than not, but the villain hadn't been around enough to get a good read.

Welcome.

Generally at twoplustwo the standard raise is 4BB. So $0.4 here. It just might make the hand play out a little easier.

Flop bet is good.

The turn card isn't great. Giving lesser Kings and Queens a potential 2pair in K10 and Q10 and providing AJ with it's straight.

I would bet like $2.5 on the turn then shut down if called. This bet will give a clearer indication of where we are at with our hand.

Then check fold this river.

Maybe raise more pre-flop. I like the flop bet. Turn bet is extremely weak, this is a draw heavy board and its very likely you still have the best hand. Pot size bet here.

As played, I think you have to call the river. There's more than $10 in the pot and you only have to call $1.50.

Preflop is fine, but I prefer 3.5 or 4 times the BB (mainly because I like to be consistent, and raise trash in late position and don't want the blinds in too cheap).

Bet more on turn, like $2.50. Fold to raise.

Check/fold river. All draws got there, a lot of his made hands that were dominated preflop have hit 2 pair.

Welcome,

another notice: if you use your handconverter, put the format to "2+2" instead of "flopturnriver"
