villains is bad - over aggro and overly loose.
passive PF (he's like 40/15 over ~200 hands), but super aggro postflop... post flop AF's --> F=5/T=7/R=9

nasty spot...dont really know what to do: you only beat a bluff, but you might have induced one though.
Would have probably played easier if you just c-bet the flop.
I got a question: Do you ever check this flop if you hit it?

I think that once you call turn you have to call this riverbet. Against this villain i think the flopcheck is very good because he will often try to buy the pot.

If I think I have a good enough read to call the turn raise, I'm calling this river every time.

I think it's fine. You really only do beat a bluff and unless he has 44. I think he has a bluff a good % of the time. I don't hate folding the turn but whatever.

As for checking with your made hands. I'd bet AA here everytime and be more willing to check QK and QJ because when you have AA, he's more likely to have a Q, then when you have a Q. And it's harder for him to have a weaker Q, when you have QJ. But whatever, just some things to think about.

I agree. If he's going to play that wild and crazy, in order to play against him, I'm going to have to put in a bunch of money with medium-strength hands sometimes. Sometimes he'll have the best hand, but there's not much you can do about that. Getting paid on those hands is his reward for giving away so much money bluffing in other pots. I think you played it well to create a pretty big, but not all-in pot, where there's a very good chance that you have the best hand.

I think you played it fine. I'd generally cbet flop and c/c the rest of the hand, it looks weaker IMO.

When people check the flop to me when they're the PFR then still give me action on a blank turn, I know they have a little something... I won't bluff when I have an aggro image.

thanks for the input everyone.
the turn felt really marginal but it looks like the river was a fairly standard call as played.

villain had 5h6h which kinda surprised me. i think his river bet was about the worst size possible for his holding (bluff). if he had bet like 75ish on the river i probably wouldve found a fold
