Default Is it legal to finish a tournament my friend started playing?

A friend of mine is final tabling some stars tourny now for a 215$ entry (quite a sum for him). His dad has a bday and just came home so he got to go in 20 mins or so.

Hes in Germany and Im in the Netherlands, so we wouldnt have a case that goes "I just switched to my laptop" if they found out.

Would it be a big deal to do that? (Him logging out now, me logging in from a different country)

Sorry if this isnt the right forum.

greets

obviously, you've already made your decision, but if it's pstars, 100% you get caught. not sure how good the other sites are at checking. consequences you both lose your accounts.

It’s expressly permitted in case of a power failure. See Rule 21 on this web page:

Just tell your friend to go to the breaker box and shut off his power. Then he can tell Stars he lost power, and it won't even be lying!
