I recently played 22k games of PLO10 (yes im a bottom feeder) with a true bb/100 of 10. Yet im folding to a bet 75% of the time on the river. Upon playing 4k hands of PLO25 (watch out i may stack u some day cymr) im folding there 79% of the time while winning at the same previous rate...for now.
Im assuming these situations are a total judgement call based on the brd, villian(s) and amount bet/alrdy invested. But your personal skill level must influence your actions and give a % that stays relatively constant. So Im curious if the number varies greatly between winning players/styles like VIP/PFR does or if I am playing badly and making all kinds of judgement errors on the river. Yes I used search to no avail and hope this doesnt fall under the hows my vip/pfr, bb/100 posts that show up here every week. If so I apologize profusely in advance. |

where do you find this stat? I'm going to guess that at low levels you should be folding a lot to a river bet because your opponents are so passive.

wow mine is 71%. 75% when adjusted for 5+ handed. I bet this is higher than most winners. In general I think people don't bluff enough on the river, but maybe I am taking it too far. My w$@sd is 52, how does yours compare with this?

Im currently going to SD 16.76% of the time and W$@SD 50.53%.
The other 22k sample of PLO10 was 19.47% and 47.89%. Well if a winning higher limit player like yourself is in the 70's then maybe im not being too much of a nit. If some other players would be willing to post their folding to a river bet %'s too it would be greatly appreciated. |

People usually do things too much though (which is what you are saying). So your opponents will mostly either always call or almost never call. In that event don't worry about Nash equilibriums. |
