He almost always raises and reraises any pair. He has 4bet allin with 22 before.

You're getting ~2.38:1 pot odds which is equivalent to ~ 1/(2.38+1)=1/3.38=29.585%

Why not just raise half your stack or more pf if you're getting it in on this flop.

50bb poker sucks. I flat call here preflop, I don't care that I have ak. Stack sizes suck for anything else, except maybe a 3bet to &lt;220.

i would check that flop

as far as calling, this is a jack a big % of the time, and a draw X% of the time (probably a good one too)

flat calling is horrible

so you miss the flop 2/3 of the time and check/fold?

No this is a different hand.

I'm trying to get a second opinion on this.

1. What do you guys think of the call?

2. Is there a better line pf agaisnt a loose button raiser with AK? The 270 3bet doesn't give set odds. Less gives set odds, more discourages action.


3. Is there a better cbet ammount?

I find myself committed in these spots alot.

I think the best lines here are either:

A) Raise more preflop so you can open shove the flop.
B) Reraise all in preflop.

270 is fine. don't cbet. people cbet way too much out of position, esp on these terrible flops.

edit: i'm open-minded of course, so if someone can give me a good reason to c-bet here, i'm all ears. i just don't see it as being profitable though.
