Default I Posted Hands Once Upon a Time

Seems like there are a lot of different ways to play this one. WCOOP #5, 2nd level. EP opens to 300 with his starting stack. His range is probably tighter than avg because he had shown a willingness/tendency to open limp. LP calls, with 10k and a super generic profile, and I call out of the SB with AQo. I thought about repopping, but didnt because of my read of EP, and AQ being, you know, AQ.

So, 3-way action to the flop with 1100 in the pot. Flop is JT8 rainbow. First decision, check or bet?

Check, I think leading is terrible.

Edit: Btw, I'm excited about what's going to develop.

Double Edit: Also, I could not see myself ever c/r-ing this flop vs. an unknown, either.

I think i check because when i lead in a spot like this i like having the ability to 3 bet all in.

However, in this tournament on this board, i feel like you never get raised by a hand that ever gives up to a 3 bet. I also don't see your lead out getting many folds in itself either.

Check/eval.

I bet because I don't like c/c, c/r, or c/f.

I'm pretty sure he didn't realize that we have a double belly buster. I prefer to check/eval here, and I think Bond nailed the reason why.

Mikej IMed me all confused and everyone disagrees with me so i'll clarify. We have great stacks to 3 barrel and this a board where he'll really often go call/call/fold.

Oh you're right. I didn't see the straight draw. Now I don't know what to do.
