Default cold decked or mistake(s)? flush draw with AKs...

in 50th out of 141 in a 10+1 on pokerstars.. 630 entrants.
blinds 100/200 no ante yet

with 5.4K in chips I pick up AKc UTG+1, raise it to 600, the button calls, (a fairly loose player but decent player with 10K in chips).. also the BB throws in his last 324 chips as he is a short stack. going to the flop there is 600+600+100+424 sooo 1724.

flop: 2c 9c 9h

i lead out for 1200, button pushes all in. at this point i have 3600 behind and the pot is.. not sure exactly but its obviously bigger than my stack. could/would you ever fold here? I didnt put him on 9 2, its pretty unlikely he flopped quads or a boat. I put him on a PP trying to push me off a CB or more likely, 1010 JJ. even if he has a 9, i figured i still had 8 flush outs and id rather have 11+K than 3.6K.

obv i lost this hand, im just wondering how others might have played this differently, and if anyone would fold here. i'll tell what he actually had later

and yeah. thinking this over, id would never fold. ever.
online tournament, 10 dollar buy in, long way to go until the FT. the only hands he could have had were 99 22 and 92 for me to be in bad shape. but i also need to think about raising a little more preflop to get set miners out.

This is an easy call. You have 15 outs (and 50% equity) against a PP, which is his most likely holding, and you're getting 2 to 1 from the pot. This is a good flop for your hand. so betting/calling a shove will always be very EV+ win or lose. WP...ul
