An early player open raises and you know he open raises 40% of the time in this situation. It is folded to you on the button or cutoff. Do you 3-bet here with K9s? I do every time but I thought I would check the thinking here. What is your minimum 3-betting standard here?

I 3-bet my standard opening hands (25%) against a villain that raises 40% from UTG.

Mess around with stove.
A5o, A2s, K9s, KTo, QTs, QJo Has about 50% eq vs his range. Add a few more playable hands like Q9s, JTs, T9s, 98s since they are pretty and I want to play against the idiot |

OP, I think you can solve this by using pokerstove and combine the results with what you feel you're able to play profitably to create a default range. Then you deviate from this depending on how the table plays and how your image is.

My intuitive line at K9s was about right. I need to get pokerstove. |
