Default Multi-tabling side effect

I've been experimenting with some multi-tabling, and got up to 4 for a while, but have recently moved back to two to practice good habits (taking notes, etc.) and to identify leaks specific to multi-tabling before adding tables back.

The first I've found is that I've noticed that my own stats for "fold to c-bet" have gone way up when I start multi-tabling. Also, my "raise c-bet" has plummeted, and is typically zero.

I know that at uNL, ABC poker is profitable, and that those stats are definately ABC. But I know that the tendency from simply having another table to concentrate on, and saying "missed that flop, i'll wait for another spot" leaves money on the table, but that it may be made up by playing multiple tables.

Has anyone else discovered this when adding tables? What are your thoughts or experience with fixing this (if it's worth fixing)?

you need to do it slowly. play one or two tables grasp the fundamentals. when you're comfortable with two, add a third.

Yes, only add tables as you're comfortable with playing your style at higher speeds.

Your statement makes me think for a second that you might be trying to play too much poker when you're only on a couple tables. By that I mean that you might be trying to win too many pots. The kind of plays you're talking about are great in moderation, but they can also be spew.

I know that when I started multi-tabling my winrate went up (on every table) because I started playing fundamentally better poker. Not completely ABC, but better, really picking my spots to float, bluff raise, bet/3bet with decent fold equity... rather than fighting for too many pots.
