How does bluetooth and the like work??

For those who tried it, can you play poker with it?? I'm not a big multitabler since I do HUs. I rarely play more than 2 tables.

I wanna maybe get it cause I'm going to visit a friend of mine in thailand. Where does it work?? All around the globe? would it work in thailand?

Does it work in planes??

I am really cluesless about this, I heard there are some other services like this that work better. what are they??

I thought bluetooth enables you to use internet everywhere, Isnt it the case???

Bluetooth is specifically designed for SHORT RANGE wireless. Like, for stuff in your left pocket to talk to stuff in your right pocket. It does not at all let you use the internet everywhere.

Maybe you were thinking of a cell phone (connected to a computer using Bluetooth) that provides an Internet connection?
