Default 10/20 : Light 3bet vs. Light 3bet-caller

Villain is a pretty good handreader. He assumes I'm 3betting light when I 3bet in this position, which is probably right. His hand is never really strong because he would have 3bet himself. Is this bluf right? Or is it too obvious? Too much leveling for a bluff?

I usually give up after the flop bet.

He probably has some SC or small/medium pp kinda hand. The 8 might have helped him but is less likely to have improved your hand.

Once he calls almost a PSB on the flop, I dont think he folds this relatively blank turn often enough, unless you have a history of always giving up after the continuationbet when bluffing.

I dont only play 500NL though. . .

Yea if I got here like this I'd shove too I think. Considering you play together frequently, I think this is fine to do here and there, just don't make a habit of it.

problem with this specific spot is that many of his likely hands (namely, mid pocket pairs) just picked up straight outs which might turn a close fold into a close call for him

but without extensive knowledge of your history there's still no way to determine how likely he is to make a hero call here or how likely he is to show up with a set with this line, etc

obv you have to do this rarely, but i really don't like it too often on this board texture

I think this is fine as long as you take this line with TT+ frequently (don't CRAI too much on turn with overpairs in rr pots).
I would rather do that on an other board texture though.

I think if you have been playing very aggro this would be a great spot for him to slowplay a set. I think he calls a little too often to make this good but I don't hate it since its good for meta and all I guess.

I think this is a terrible board to fire again on the turn. Like his entire range is made up of sets and pairs w/ gutshots or better. Easy c/f
