Default Duels, a browser game

Pretty interesting time-waster. It's a browser-based game where you create a warrior or mage and duel other people. The itemization, quests and skills are heavily influenced by World of Warcraft... as far as I know it's been live for about a month so there are still some balance changes and whatnot going on.

Link to Duels. (Use me as your referrer).

Some strategies I have gleaned on my way to level 10: challenge everyone close to your level to duels, this is the fastest way to earn experience and tokens, with which you can get new items.

Also keep your weapon updated often in the early levels, makes completing your quests a lot easier.

"Scrimmaging" is just a way to test your strength against someone (and gain xp) without it affecting your official win loss record.

You can only duel and scrimmage a player or NPC three times each a day. Also you get more XP/tokens/gold if you win, so if you are going to level, duel the weaker NPCs/players afterwards to increase your chance of winning.

The scrolls you get at low levels are pretty useless, so just use them in whatever duels you wanna win (maybe in those against people +1/+2 your level).
