Call one, as played a call on the river is your only option. Why did you say u meant to bet 600 on the turn, i think that would have made a way more difficult/expensive situation on the river and you say u had no history with him. Hand 2 is always a fold, happens alll the time, u could have check called it but u would probably have lost more since he is last to act and is going to bet more to make it look fishy.
