JJ in BB ($30)
$30+$3 PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)
MP (t2040) CO (t1615) Button (t2230) SB (t4440) Hero (t2335) UTG (t840) Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG raises to t200, 3 folds, SB calls t175, Hero ???? My only note on UTG is that he limped PF in EP with 55 and then check-raised a flop of Q42. SB has been LAG so far. For what it's worth, my image should be TAG but who knows if they're paying attention. Folding seems out of the question. Should I be pushing this to try to get HU with the short-stacked UTG? Or just call? |

Re: JJ in BB ($30)
Push. Especially since UTG is short and the extra chips from the flat caller make a nice pot to take down or get HU w/ UTG.

Re: JJ in BB ($30)
there are arguements for both calling and all in.
if SB has been calling a lot already then that would be my concern where they can felt you. all in will probably knock out sb however, the sng is early (bb being 50)...so calling has its advantages too, that gives you the chance to get away from the hand after a scarry flop. that does 2 things....limits utg win (if they hit....and leaves you with enough chips to still give you an opportunity to win, and doesnt give sb the chance to out draw you if he calls with to overs or something... |
