Default Moving Up, But Not Really

I just moved up to 25NL and ran bad for two hours with minor tilt which effectively killed half my roll. Now I have $210. Obviously plenty for 10NL but would it be stupid to shortstack 25NL instead?? Thanks for any input/advice.

If you lose half your bankroll in two hours, you probably should move down.

Over 3 days, but 5 or so hands killed me. Flopped 3 sets that lost to straights and 1 flush. Basically 8 buy-ins. My only tilt was going all in with a good hand, and that cost me in the sense that I didnt get paid at all with flopped straights and what not. I was playing well, really, but 5-10 hands for a buy-in a piece will do you in...

210 is not plenty for 10NL - you actually have just the right amount. and yes, you should move down.

Don't shortstack if you want to learn to play poker. Move down to $10NL and have fun playing and learning. I won't play any level without 25+ buy-ins.

If you can afford to go busto just keep on playing 25nl untill busto and reload if you're comfortable playing that level.
If BR management is a concern well you better grind up to 25x30 = 750$ to move up comfortably.
I'd take shots at 550/600ish and rebuild back to that level once you drop to < 500

You could even move down to 5nl and play 200bb deep, losing a few buyins at 10nl could put you on a very slim roll
