Default OT: new here - where to look?

Im new in here, but a semi-seasoned player. If I want to skip all the OT's and specific HH's, and start out with some of 2+2's general approach to STT strategy, where would you guys recommend me starting?

Specifically one of my friends (a 2+2 reader) pointed out a leak in my game, calling too many shortstack allins with above-range hands, but still mediocre (60/40 ish) hands - any specific threads about that? He talked about ICM to me, but couldnt really explain it, anything on that?

Thanks in advance - comhood

That's probably not much of a leak (depending on exact stack sizes).

well.. f.ex. calling a t1000 all in 3-handed with A6 in BB, with a stack of only t2500 at blinds 100/200, against a loose player. My 2+2 buddy claims this to be a mayor leak..
