Default 15/30 set c/r on turn

15/30 B&M Table is full of loose agressive players of varying skill levels.
2 Limps in front of HERO who limps a pair of 5s in MP.
2 more limps behind.
SB (Aggressive plays well Asian)raises. BB calls. 7 to the flop.
Flop Q 10 5 rainbow.
SB bets folded to Hero who raises. Aggressive smart LP player calls 2 cold and SB calls. 3 to the turn.
Turn Q 10 5 K c'd to Hero who bets. LP calls and SB c/rs

What does Hero do here - call or raise?

I would raise. He could easily have have KJ or 2 pair. He cant put you on a set at this point so he figures he is ahead of your range. If he has J9 you have plenty of outs and can consider folding river ui if he 4bets turn.

interesting spot.

i think i would 3 bet for value and protection (from the LP LAG). i only see one hand that SB could have that beats you here, and several hands that you're winning against.

Raise, even if he is playing AJ, you have a draw to the nuts if the board pairs on the river.

You gotta bet that set here since you lose too much value by calling. You very well can be up against two players who are playing something like AA, AK, AQ,JJ, KJ, KT, QT, J9 and shooting it out on the turn.

Very interesting. Presence of LP is messing me up a little, but here it goes.
This really smells like AK to me.
If SB is aggressive, he is probably Jaming that flop with TT, QQ, KK, AA.
If he plays well, he doesn't have any 2pair obv.
Don't think he popped 6 players PF with AJ either.

LP has a Jack with a Q,T, or K

Final Answer:
I raise and take it from there.

i like beakwetter's explanation, but i give more credit toward higher set and AJs, but not enough to stop the 3-ball, especially with the LP behind - i'd call down the 4, and only put in one more raise if river pairs board
